Introducing the Community Kitchen Time Bank
The Bradley Centre is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the Community Kitchen Time Bank, made possible through the generous support of the Parksville Qualicum Foundation’s Community Prosperity Grant. This initiative is designed to provide access to a fully-equipped, food-safe kitchen where community members and organizations can collaborate on food security projects.

Our goal is to empower the Oceanside region by creating opportunities for people to come together, share resources, and improve food literacy. The Community Kitchen Time Bank allows local non-profits, charities, and community groups to access kitchen space to prepare meals, preserve food, and participate in food-related workshops—helping to address food insecurity in our region.

How You Can Get Involved
We are looking for volunteers to help us make the Community Kitchen Time Bank a success! Whether you’re passionate about food security, enjoy working with others, or want to give back to your community, there are many ways to contribute. Volunteers will play an essential role in maintaining the kitchen, supporting food projects and collecting feedback. We encourage volunteers to help us shape and enhance the program by making recommendations for improvements.

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities
We also invite local businesses to partner with us in this initiative. Corporate sponsorships can help us sustain the Community Kitchen Time Bank, ensuring that we continue to provide this critical resource for the community. Sponsors can contribute in various ways, from donating to the bank to donating food, and will receive recognition for their support.
